Loch Creran View is situated 10 miles
north of Oban on the main Oban to Fort William road A828.
Oban and surrounding area is a popular tourist destination and has plenty of activities for visitors to enjoy, not least the fact that it is the Gateway to the Isles with ferries to many of the islands.
Leaving Oban and heading north passing over Connel
Ferry Bridge where below lies the famous Falls of Lora.
Passing through the village of Benderloch which has
a general store, post office, garage, coffee shop, restaurant and
church. There is also a lovely forest walk which leads to the top
of Ben Lora and once there you can enjoy wonderful views of the
surrounding area.
Loch Creran View is 2 miles north of Benderloch, a
2 minute walk will take you to Argyll Pottery and a 5 minute walk
to The Scottish Sea Life Sanctuary. |
